Excellent book! With the onset of the so called “New Atheism” and the recent populist works of Dawkins, Hitchens, Dennet, Harris and the like, this new edition couldn’t have come at a better time.

Filled with cogent and compelling arguments, Craig responds to (and literally obliterates) several of the modern challenges and objections to Christianity with astonishing precision and erudition, while maintaining an attitude of gentleness and respect (as opposed to the insulting sarcasm and empty rhetoric immanent in the works of some of his opponents). Although the book is accessible and understandable to the layman, nevertheless, it is written at a collegiate level and is not an easy read. Unless one is well read, and current, in fields such as philosophy, cosmology, quantum physics, church history, etc., this book will be challenging and hard to get through, as it was for me.
