  2. Sounds to be a good one to lend an ear to. Believing in God is one’s own belief and it should not be out of any force but it should be from the within. Providing the proper understanding to all the instance will just help the cause to make things more clearer.

  3. I haven’t listened to this video, I just saw Sproul’s name. Frankly, the man’s Christology is raging Nestorianism. His book, “The Character of God” demonstrates this as well as the video below.

There are far better scholars out there from whom one can learn about the historical, cultural, theological and philosophical life of early Christianity. Take Richard Bauckham, for instance.

  4. Dr. R.C. Sproul probably means well, meaning that he’s not in this “intelligent design” business just for the money, but his concept of “Defending Your Faith” requires the use of evidence, proof, and philosophical tools that, when all is said and done, throws “Faith” out the window and replaces “Faith” with his claimed proof. Where one has proof, one does not have faith. No thank you Dr. R.C. Sproul, my faith does not depend upon evidence or proof. Your claim that nature demonstrates intelligent design is flawed. Our very existence is manifest in a nature in which we survive and thrive and, of course, for us we see a design because without the design that we can perceive, we could not even exist. Again, my faith does not need you or your claims of evidence and proof.
